Best Friends Forever...

It was almost 20 years ago when we first met... (Wow! Time really flies, don't they?)... I could still remember vaguely that it was our first day in a brand new secondary school, St. George's Girls' School... I can still remember how we used to hang out together during school hours as well as after school hours (remember those times in Komtar as well as in parties?) Hahaha...

After high school, each one of us went our different ways to pursue our dreams... going to different colleges and end up in different career path... but however, we always try to stay close to each other through all these years... going to parties and clubs (during our younger years), meeting for lunch/dinner, shopping, exercising, etc...

We would always confine and seek advise in one another whenever there is a problem that is bothering us... no matter if it involves boyfriends, work place, family or friends... we have always talk things out in the open as we trust each other with our secrets... (I can proudly say, you girls are the only ones that knows a lot of my dark inner secrets that no one else knows about)... And each one of us have our own unique way which complements one another and we know we will always be there for each other... That is the beauty of our friendship...

It is just so hilarious when we think back of the past during our schooling days... we were talking about it some time back and we just can't stop laughing our way through... it was the best time ever with no worries... It was just school, teachers, studying, exams and friends... All of us can still remember one event (and I am very sure those of you who are in the same class as us can remember), where Ms Pon, who threw her lunch (nasi kandar/lemak) at one of our dear friend who just happens to sit behind us cause she was doing her acccounting homework under the table which involves using the calculator instead of paying attention in her BM class while she was teaching... everyone was shocked especially us who was just so close by, luckily no one was hit by the lunch or injured from that... I could still remember Ms Pon said 'I didn't know BM class need to use the calculator'... and after that she just walk out of the classroom... It was really a laughing case when we think back... :)

Now after going through the first part of our life together, I know our friendship have grown a solid foundation... there are a lot more for us to go through (meeting our Mr. Right, settling down, getting married, having children and grandchildren...) and I am very sure we will always be there for each other supporting one another... And I am particularly happy for one of my dearest best friend, Su Ann, who have found her life partner and will be settling down soon this year... Wishing you all the happiness in this world, dear...

Thinking back of all the years, the joy, the laughter and the tears, it is just so amusing how simple a friendship can be... seeing how one another have grown from a clueless little girl to who we are today... all the memories will always be with us and I know we will always cherish those times together...

I also would like to take this opportunity to thank both of you gals for always being there for me no matter what... through the happy and the hard times... through the laughter, the joy and the tears together with me... I will always cherish our friendship above all and I am so happy and proud to have you gals in my life...

BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!!! Love you gals forever and always... xoxo

A best friend is always there,
whether you need advice,
or a pep talk,
or even a shoulder to cry on.
A best friend listens with her heart
and is always honest with you,
even though the truth may not be what you want to hear.
A best friend knows all your secrets,
understands your fears,
shares your dreams.
A best friend never stops believing in you,
even if you give up on yourself.
You are that kind of friend to me.
And no matter what happens,
you always will be.
You are my best friend....
my forever friend.
