Reason, Season or a Lifetime

This is an article that I came across which I thought is very meaningful... Read on...

People come into your life for a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime.
When you know which one it is for a person, you will know what to do for that person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a Godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered, and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons: things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

My tribute to Michael Jackson – The King of Pop (1958-2009)

It was 9.30am on 25 June 2009, when my friend told me about the terrible news… I was still sleeping at that time and I was like “Huh? Are you sure?”… Not believing it… then in the instance I switched on my radio and it was all over the radio and then it sets me in that it was really true… radio played his songs throughout the day as a tribute to Michael Jackson … the news really came as a great shock to me and I am pretty sure to everyone else in this world also…

At the age of 50 and just under two months more to his 51st birthday, Michael Jackson died of what it seems to be a cardiac arrest… what really cause the death is still under investigation and most suspected is the drugs… Michael Jackson was also going to make a major come back in his career performing… I saw the last video of his rehearsal and he seems pretty fine and healthy to me with great dance moves… But whatever the reason is, the death of Michael Jackson is truly a lost to the world…

I grew up listening to his songs… I could still remember all my cousins and me sitting in the living hall and watching Michael Jackson performing on TV… my Aunty Soo See especially loves him very much… the dance moves (which we cannot get enough of, especially that move in Smooth Criminal where he bends down so perfectly), the groundbreaking music videos and especially the inspirational songs and messages (about hope in life, earth and goodness in us all) touches everyone’s heart and soul…

It was such a sad day watching the memorial of Michael Jackson on 7 July 2009 at 1am… I stayed up and watched till 4am… tears keep falling from my eyes throughout the whole thing… it was emotional especially when Brooke Shields gave her speech and near the end when Paris Jackson said how much she loves her dad, it was so heart breaking…

It’s always a human nature to look at a person faults and not their contributions… people don’t’ see his legacy and the love, sweet emotions and hope he has designed in his songs and arts… they don’t see the purest of worlds he has created in our hearts and minds and all the contributions and humanitarian works he had made to the world… they don’t see, they don’t feel and they don’t care… all they could think of is preying on the weak and the vulnerable… To keep kicking a man when he is down…

So what if he has had plastic surgery? Which celebrity hasn’t done it? So what if he built a dreamlike play-fantasy ranch called Neverland for himself? It is his dream and his money and the things that he misses out during his childhood cause he had to work instead… the sacrifices that was made for his success… So what if he loves children and loves being surrounded by them? He has always considers himself a child…

Michael, you have given us your life… Your music, your moves, your messages for a better world will live on forever and inspire a million more to take it on from where you left… You are a legend and the most talented and brilliant person and truly a gift from GOD…

You will be forever missed and remembered, Michael Jackson… Rest in peace…
